Kalpana has experience in strategy and operations, has directly managed global and virtual teams (250+), and has led large cross-functional teams. She is currently the COO of Biteable and spends time advising companies on operations. She applies a data-driven approach to growing businesses, has extensive experience collaborating with Product to develop product roadmaps and customer-centric improvements, and is passionate about hiring and developing strong teams. She has experience in both B2C, B2B, and marketplace businesses.

She started her career at American Express and then joined SurveyMonkey to launch and build out the operations for their first enterprise product (SurveyMonkey Audience). Subsequently, she Ied and scaled the Customer Experience team at HotelTonight, managed the team through the acquisition of Airbnb by HotelTonight, and integrated the function into the broader Airbnb organization.
